Ford Mach 1: a 100% electric and sporty SUV for 2020

Ford has announced that it wants to launch a little more in the electric vehicle in order, why not, to compete with the leader Tesla. The brand has announced an electric SUV for 2020.

It was at the Detroit Auto Show that Ford announced the upcoming release of an all-electric SUV. Called Mach 1, it is expected to compete with the Tesla Model X, except that it will be necessary to wait until 2020 to see it marketed.

Ford has described its Mach 1 as the mix of a Ford Mustang-type sports car and a large Ford Explorer type SUV. The name of the vehicle is unequivocal: it will be geared towards performance. Performance that will have to be at the rendezvous to come to the Tesla Model X whose acceleration allows it to cross the 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds.
