Tmsuk revisits the wheelchair for people with disabilities or reduced mobility by offering them an alternative that allows for greater mobility and can better adapt to the needs of each patient.

The first originality of the system is the positioning of the patient who is no longer seated against a backrest, but rather positioned as on a motorcycle with a support on the chest. This system allows the user to position himself more easily alone on his device from an extended position.

This position also allows the user to have his upper limbs in a higher position, allowing him to access accessories not intended for the disabled such as worktops, sanitary ...

The chair is robotic and connected: it can be controlled from a smartphone. He can be called to pick up the patient in his room and position himself near the bed. Its battery allows approximately 15 km of autonomy for 8 hours of charge.

Proposed in Japan for 980,000 yen (€ 7,400), the Rodem should be broadcast in Europe next year.
