Google Docs: a bug prevented editing documents

This beginning of the week, Google has borne the brunt of a major bug on its Google Doc service, preventing users from modifying their files.

This is a bug that Google would have done well, especially when you want to settle in the heart of business with its desktop solutions in the cloud. Earlier this week, there was a bug on the Google Docs platform, preventing users from modifying or adding new documents to their storage.

The bug always returned the same message when saving files, indicating that the document did not meet Google's Terms of Service.

The terms of Google Docs are modeled on those of Google Drive and can frame the storage of illegal content, including malicious software, copyrighted content or hate speech. Unfortunately, this restriction was applied by default on all documents during the bug, regardless of the nature of the content.

Google quickly intervened to correct the situation, and everything came back in order after a few hours. Unfortunately, in the meantime, professionals who wanted to advance on their collaborative projects stored on Google Docs were forced to switch to another service ... temporarily or permanently.
