The Redmond firm has confirmed that the Xbox One X would also be compatible with QHD screens, ie screens displaying 2560x1440 pixels. This is good news for game PC owners who have been opting for this definition for many years now, halfway between 720P and Ultra HD.

The choice of Microsoft is not trivial since on the competition side, namely the PS4 Pro, Sony has chosen to oust definitions other than Full HD and Ultra HD.
