Meanwhile iOS 11, the iOS 10.3.3 update becomes the only version available for iOS 10.

The iOS 10.3.3 update was released on July 19th. Apple has just stopped signing iOS 10.3.2, which means that this earlier version of the mobile operating system is no longer available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.

In other words, if they have updated their device with iOS 10.3.3, they no longer have the option to go back. In addition, iOS 10.3.3 becomes the only version of iOS 10 that can be installed. Meanwhile iOS 11 in the fall and currently in beta.

At the beginning of the month, Jonathan Levin - aka Morpheus - had advised not to upgrade to iOS 10.3.3, or even downgrade to iOS 10.3.2 as long as possible. An advice only valid from a jailbreak perspective due to a vulnerability in libxpc (with iOS 10.3.2) that can be exploited for a tool of fouling.

It turns out that this jailbreak has not yet come. In addition, iOS 10.3.3 fixes a little less than fifty security vulnerabilities, including a bug affecting Wi-Fi chips and allowing to execute arbitrary code. This leads to a remote takeover of the device, if the attacker is on the same Wi-Fi network.

Without iOS 10.3.3 does not seem so good advice.
