According to Satellifax, adding the privilege option to SFR subscribers that incorporates Altice Studio would be a big return to the operator. The agency, which took care of the calculations comes to the balance sheet of 627 million euros of turnover without taxes if no subscriber denounces the option.

As a reminder, the option has been added by default to subscribers and is charged between 2 and 3 € on mobile and 5 € from subscribers to the fixed Internet. It is up to the subscriber himself to disable this option in his user account (opt-out principle), a situation denounced by consumer associations.

Satellifax pursues its reasoning and revises its figures on the basis that only 20% of subscribers will become aware of the increase and will decide to terminate the option. In this configuration, SFR would earn 502 million euros of turnover each year.
