iPhone SE 2: towards a launch in the first half of 2018?


The iPhone SE could return to a new version early next year, according to the Economic Daily News.


 The iPhone SE is not the most visible mobile device Apple but it is still present in the catalog, meeting the needs of those seeking a compact iPhone with a 4-inch display.

However, its technical sheet has not changed since its launch and the smartphone still offers a SoC Apple A9 dating back to 2015. For some time, it is rumored that Apple could propose a change iPhone SE 2 early 2018 to bring up to date this model.

 The Economic Daily News returns to this rumor and ensures that the iPhone SE 2 will be well launched during the first half of 2018. Produced by Wistron, it would be fully assembled in India, on the site of Bengaluru, where is also produced the iPhone SE.

On the features side, the model should take the features of the iPhone 7, still in a compact format. It would therefore adopt a SoC Apple A10 Fusion quadcore with 2 GB of RAM and 32 or 128 GB of storage space.

It should offer a simple main photo sensor but it remains to be seen its display will benefit from reduced borders or if it will remain on a standard design.
