The Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone could make an appearance in early January 2018, at the CES 2018 in Las Vegas, says the site Venturebeat.

However, it will only show the new reference smartphone before a full presentation at a Galaxy Unpacked event in March, as for the Galaxy S8 / S8 + this year.

Evan Blass took the opportunity to confirm that the Galaxy S9 and S9 + will be very similar to the current models, with the same display Infinity Display and an 18: 9 ratio.

At the rear, it is a double photo sensor (perhaps only on the S9 +) is expected, with a vertical layout and a fingerprint reader repositioned. Inside, a SoC SnapDragon 845 or Exynos 9810 (depending on the version) will find place, with 4 GB of RAM for the Galaxy S9 but maybe 6 GB of RAM for the Galaxy S9 +.
