Sony is preparing a smashing comeback in the smartphone world with a new range of Xperia smartphones with a totally new design. Leaks today evoke the Xperia XZ Pro and part of its technical sheet.
Sony should take advantage of Barcelona's MWC to kick off its new range of Xperia smartphones. And this year, the brand intends to shake the codes by putting aside the design "omnibalance" adopted so far for screens more widely highlighted.
Some clues were published via a device card under AnTuTu. The terminal called Sony H8266 could be the next Xperia XZ Pro. Its partial technical sheet reveals a screen with a definition of 2160x1080 pixels, or Full HD + 18: 9 format. We also spot the presence of the very powerful SoC Snapdragon 845, Android 8.0 and 4 GB of RAM for 64 GB of storage.

Sony could thus favor an edge-to-edge OLED screen signed by LG for its future smartphone. It remains to be seen whether the brand will present some models at the Barcelona mobile show.
