Google: an artificial intelligence to write articles in the Wikipedia style

In his development lab Google Brain, the engineers of the Net giant are working to develop an artificial intelligence able to write articles that could compliment a Wikipedia-type database.

Google researchers are developing an artificial intelligence that collects information automatically in order to compile them to produce texts in the spirit of articles proposed on Wikipedia.

The Google Brain project is thus used as part of an AI that launches research on Google from the top 10 sites referenced on a topic launched at random (while excluding Wikipedia). The information is collected, analyzed, and then the AI creates diagrams based on the data to form paragraphs before being simplified to display only the essential information. Once the information is synthesized, the AI is responsible for reformulating sentences by taking inspiration from the syntax of the paragraphs copied.

A test was conducted at the Wings over Kansas aviation site for the demonstration. We can see the summary generated by the computer on the left in comparison with the Wikipedia article on the right.

The AI still has some work to do to synthesize its texts, but the work done is particularly bluffing. The other point that should also be developed is the ability of the IA to verify the information: the restriction to the first 10 search results can lead to the insertion of errors in the proposed texts.
