To expand its user base, Snapchat makes a reason and allows the sharing of certain Stories on the Web.
In December, information leaked about a Stories Everywhere project to export Snapchat Stories to the Web. Things went faster than expected, with some Stories that can actually be shared out of the app.
TechCrunch explains that this is the ability to share public Stories via links, then for posting through a web player on Snapchat.com. For the beginning, the eligible public Stories are the official Stories (Audited Accounts), Our Stories and Stories from the search engine of the application.

In connection with the overhaul of Snapchat, deployment begins in Australia and Canada. For both Android and iOS, availability will be extended to other countries over the next few weeks.
Even with a share link, the ephemeral side will be preserved. Availability for 30 days for Our Stories, and 24 hours for Official Stories.
It's a clear sign of openness for Snapchat's flagship feature that has been emulated. The challenge remains to attract new users to the application. In the browser, a link for downloading the application will be displayed.
