AnTutu: In October, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus dominate and OnePlus 5 still in the lead on Android

In October, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus become the new smartphone champions in the AnTuTu benchmark ranking, while the OnePlus 5 retains its first place on Android mobile devices, pending the OnePlus 5T.

 The AnTuTu benchmark has delivered its ranking of the best performing smartphones according to its analysis tools for the month of October and it is without much surprises the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus stand out and take the lead.

With 210,000 points for the iPhone 8 and even 217,000 points for the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, Apple's mobile devices take a good head start and are surpassed in their world only by iPad Pro tablets, including the iPad Pro 10.5 inch model.

On the Android side, the top of the ranking does not change with a OnePlus 5 to more than 181,000 points, the current Android smartphones of the moment being established to 170,000 to 175,000 points on AnTuTu.

Things could change with the arrival of the OnePlus 5T on November 16th. If the smartphone takes the hardware configuration of the OnePlus 5, it could benefit from new optimizations allowing him to take the lead in this ranking.
