MegaBots vs. Suidobashi: the giant robots fight has already taken place



The fight between the giant robots of type mecha Eagle Prime and Kuratas will be broadcast at the beginning of the week. It took place in a disused steel plant in Japan.

This clash between Eagle Prime of the American start-up MegaBots and Kuratas of the Japanese group Suidobashi Heavy Industry should have been broadcast last August. It has not been canceled and will finally be released at the beginning of the week.

Rendez-vous is given for the combat of giant robots of type mecha which will be proposed on the platform Twitch on Tuesday 17 October at 19h Pacific time. This translates to Wednesday, October 18 at 4 am, Paris time.

Initially named Mark III before being renamed Eagle Prime, the creation of MegaBots is 4.90 meters high and weighs 12 tons. Opposite, Suidobashi's Kuratas appears relatively light, culminating at nearly 4 meters for 6.5 tons.



These robots are not autonomous. They fly from the inside. Moreover, they are quite slow and with reduced mobility. So do not expect much agility in the science fiction-inspired clash.

This famous duel, which must foreshadow a hypothetical international sports league, has in fact already taken place in an abandoned steel factory in Japan without the presence of spectators.
