Samsung Galaxy Note 8: iFixit gives it the same repair score as the Galaxy S8

iFixit tests the ability of the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone to be repaired easily and finds the same advantages and defects as the Galaxy S8.

 Recently announced, the smartphone Galaxy Note 8, Samsung's new reference smartphone equipped with a huge 6.3-inch Infinity Display display spreading to the slices, has been dismantled in good standing at iFixit.

As for the Galaxy S8, the opening of the smartphone is not done without risk, notably because of the presence of the glass shell that will also have to be removed in case of change of screen.

 The rear glass panel is held by adhesives, with the danger of breaking it during handling. Any changes to the internal components will also require removal of this glass panel.

 iFixit notes that the internal layout of the components is different from that of the Galaxy S8 or the previous Galaxy Note. However, the elements are relatively easy to replace if necessary.

The 3300 mAh battery is also firmly held by glue but remains accessible. In the end, iFixit attributes the repairability score of 4/10 to the Galaxy Note 8, which was also that of the Galaxy S8.
