The smartphones Galaxy S8 and S8 +  have had at heart to forget the setbacks of the Galaxy Note 7 launched a few months earlier but very quickly withdrew from the sale because of overheating of its battery.

Samsung launched its new models later than usual but at the same time attracted the light to them by integrating the latest mobile technologies and still taking advantage of a powerful marketing machine to showcase them.

According to research firm Strategy Analytics, the Galaxy S8 and S8 + would already have passed the 20 million mark of units sold during the month of July. The Korean group has sold its models at a rate of 278,000 units per day on average since the launch in April, reaching a volume of 19.8 million units in the second quarter.

A few weeks ago, D.J. Koh, head of the Samsung Electronics mobile branch, reported that Galaxy S8 sales were 15% higher than last year's Galaxy S7 sales.
