A few days ago, OnePlus deployed an OxygenOS 4.5.7 update for the OnePlus 5 smartphone, which provides optimization and EIS stabilization for 4K video recording.

Users quickly reported jerky problems in resource-intensive applications such as gaming and OnePlus immediately reacted by blocking the release of the update and indicating that a fix would be made in a new release as soon as possible.

This is already the case with the announcement of the release of OxygenOS 4.5.8 which directly replaces version 4.5.7 and proposes the same corrections, optimizations and EIS contribution, but also the correction of the problem generated by the implementation (Fixed occasional stutters when playing games) and the problem of excessive energy consumption in certain scenarios ("Fixed battery drain for Jio users").

As always, the update is gradually made in OTA (Over The Air) on OnePlus 5 smartphones.
