Rather than virtual reality, Microsoft has chosen to develop mixed reality with its Hololens system. Unfortunately, it is known that the autonomous headset signed Microsoft will not be accessible to the general public, due to a relatively high price of 3000 euros.

In spite of everything, Microsoft has turned to partners and opted to open their technology to them to offer their own autonomous headsets. The goal is to see several headsets come with different prices that will all be compatible with the platform of Microsoft, itself exploited on Windows 10 and Xbox One.

It is Lenovo that should offer the most accessible headset with a relatively sober technical data. It will above all be a helmet to discover the mixed reality. No specification has been given at this time regarding the data sheet.

At Asus, however, the high-end will be targeted with a performance-oriented headset and a very tailored design.

Dell has unveiled a completely white helmet that reveals a cable, something that does not appear strangely on the other helmets. We are already talking about availability for the end of the year with a price that promises to be affordable.

At the same time, Microsoft announced that Acer and HP helmets were available in the form of development kits. Reserved in the USA and Canada for now, it costs 299 $ for the helmet of Acer and 329 $ for that of HP. Remember that Microsoft was aiming to offer helmets under the $ 300 mark.
