It follows the RX 550 and succeeds the RX 460 which had not been replaced within the current catalog of the brand. It embarks a Polaris 11 GPU slightly reworked to gain in power and in rapidity, its name of baptism changes thus and opts for Polaris 21.

This RX 560 embeds a GPU with 1024 stream processors, 64 TMUs and 16 Rops for frequencies of 1175 MHz in standard mode and 1275 MHz in boost. As a reminder, the RX 460 it replaces displayed 896 Stream processors, 48 TMUs and 16 Rops for frequencies of 1090 and 1200 MHz. In passing, this RX 560 sees its TDP evolve from 5 watts to display at 80 watts. The board also features 2 to 4 GB of GDDR5 clocked at 7000 Mb / s.
