Bad surprise in the monthly barometer Netflix, Free continues to fall on the average flow during rush hours.
This week, Netflix released its new Internet Service Provider Performance Index. In bickering with the video-on-demand subscription service to no longer appear in this monthly barometer, Free is still there and is still not at the party at the beginning of the year.
The average throughput for Free dropped further to 1.39 Mbps. If the other operators also knew a blow of slack in January, it is for Free that it is most marked. In this endless fall, Free is last in Europe.
The index lists the average speeds (excluding cellular networks) recorded by Netflix during peak times. Netflix's measures are to be considered only in the context of the use of its service.

Even if the actors concerned do not communicate on this subject, a problem around a peering agreement probably explains the current situation which is not improving.
It will be remembered that Free and YouTube did not always get along well. The release of the Freebox mini 4K (with Android TV box) has allowed Free and Google to find common ground.
