Counterfeits of smartphones are legion on the market, and against all odds, it is not necessarily the iPhone which is the most copied smartphone in the world. According to figures reported by AnTuTu, Samsung would be the subject of more copies during the year 2017.

We discover that 36.23% of smartphones that launched an AnTuTu test last year were actually fake Samsung smartphones. Data was collected from 17.5 million connections to AnTuTu servers last year. Of the total, 2.6% of connected smartphones were copies of existing models.
