Galaxy Note 8: Samsung embarrassed by a battery problem



The Galaxy Note 8 which does not recharge or restart when the battery is at 0%, that could almost revive the specter of Galaxy Note 7. Samsung acknowledges having received some incident reports.

After the setbacks of the Galaxy Note 7 end of 2016, Samsung has taken steps to avoid new problems on the next generations and took its time to release its Galaxy S8 early 2017 and make it perfect, and the Galaxy Note 8 a few months later later.

There has been no battery problem since, but some Galaxy Note 8 users still have a problem: the mobile device will not boot and will not charge when the battery is fully discharged and reaches 0%.

Several cases have been reported in the forums and even if it concerns only a small number of smartphones and apparently rather versions with SoC SnapDragon 835 (Europe, with its models under Exynos, would not be concerned), the manufacturer Korean has already started to react.


He stated that he had indeed received some reports to that effect and did not yet give any information on the nature of the problem or on a possible resolution. For the moment, the situation has nothing to do with what touched the Galaxy Note 7 a little over a year ago.
