Galaxy S9 and S9 + certified by the FCC before launch

Samsung's Galaxy S9 and S9 + smartphones have passed the FCC certification phase, often one of the last steps before the official announcement of mobile devices.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification is often one of the last steps before the marketing of electronic devices, so a reference is a good indication of an upcoming launch.

Samsung's Galaxy S9 and S9 + smartphones received FCC validation this December 27 with known references SM-G960F and SM-G965F, confirming that the devices have been finalized and are now going through the procedures of different controllers around the world.

The documents do not provide any information on the characteristics or the frequency bands supported, which does not make it possible to validate the various hypotheses concerning their configuration.

Moreover, this timing before the New Year does not give any indication on the time of the official announcement, while some rumors evoked a launch very early in the year.
