The Private iPad Pro, Office Applications Free

Even Apple has praised in the past the qualities of Microsoft Office applications on its iPad. This week, Apple introduced its new iPad Pro 12.9 inches and its all new iPad Pro 10.5 inches that replaces the iPad Pro 9.7 inches. For the latter, this is not insignificant with Office applications.

This change in size compared to the 9.7-inch version of the iPad Pro deprives the tablet of the possibility to have free of charge the advanced Office applications, namely for the creation and the edition of documents in addition to the only consultation.
 This is not any retaliation action from Microsoft, but its policy enforcement ensures that free full Office applications disappear on a mobile device when its display is greater than 10.1 inches. This also applies to Surface.As with the first introduction of the iPad Pro 12.9 in late 2015, an Office 365 subscription becomes mandatory.

Computerworld, who pointed out this change, pointed out that theoretically, there was already no gratuity in the framework of use for commercial purposes.
