Liang Chen, from the KeenLab team (already behind iOS 10.3.2 and iOS 11 jailbreaks), demonstrated the jailbreak of an iPhone X under iOS 11.1.1 during a presentation, demonstrating the Ability to override the mobile platform's defenses presumably through one (or more) privilege-escalation vulnerabilities.

If it is shown that it is possible to jailbreak the latest iPhone models (incorporating the Apple A11 Bionic SoC) with the latest evolution of iOS, very little information was given on the method and nothing does not say that the technique of jailbreak is broadcast one day to the general public.

More surely, the technique should be resold to the highest bidder, other companies or government agencies in search of sensitive information, or even sent to Apple as part of its Bug Bounty program.
