While HADOPI recently published a study on the site that replaced the original Zone-Telechargement.com platform, several clones have been the subject of blocking requests.
According to our colleagues at Next Inpact, the FDNF (National Federation of Film Distributors), API (Association of Independent Producers), SEVN (Union of Video Publishing) and Union of Producterus would have taken legal action to organize the administrative blocking of 4 French sites having specialized in the sharing of pirated contents.
Among these sites, we logically find Zone-Telechargement.ws but also Papystreaming, sokrostrem.cc as well as zonetelechargement.su. There is talk of dereferencing these sites on Google's search engines and competitors, but also blocking by ISPs to block access to sites at subscriber level.

The procedure could take several months, and as usual, closing a site will result in the opening of a clone in the following days or weeks. Furthermore, as soon as a procedure is officially launched, these sites will only have to change their address in order not to be affected by the complaint in question.
