The announcement of the Huawei Mate 10 / Mate 10 Pro smartphones was accompanied by the migration of the Huawei Mate 9 models to the Android Oreo, followed by the Huawei P10 series.
The new smartphones Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro benefit directly from Android Oreo and the Chinese manufacturer took advantage of their announcement to specify the availability of the latest version of Android on some of its models.
During the presentation, it was indicated that the smartphones Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro will be entitled to an update to Android Oreo in the months to come. This will be followed by the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus models, but with a more vague period of availability.
