YouTube: more mobile playback options

The YouTube app takes advantage of new playback options to align with the face-up on the web version of the service.

 For a few days and the latest evolution of the YouTube app on Android and iOS, users have more options regarding the playback of their videos.

In order to standardize the experience across its different platforms (Web and mobile), Google has chosen to decline the speed options of reading on its mobile application. You can choose to play videos in fast or slow motion.

Users can now choose to slow video playback by one-quarter, half, or three-quarters. For acceleration, options X2, X1,5 or X0.25 are available. Note that Google announced that new features will soon be deployed on mobile, mobile users representing a growing part of the users of the platform.
