Windows 10 Fall Creators Update: What is your favorite feature?

Microsoft prospects with Windows Insiders to identify what excites them with the Fall Creators Update of Windows 10. A choice among targeted features.

As part of an online survey submitted to Windows Insiders, Microsoft's list of new and improved Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The panorama is not complete, but these are a priori the novelties that Microsoft wants to focus on.

Among those listed, Windows Insiders are asked to choose three features that excite them most (with an order of preference). It is possible to add a personal choice.

The investigation ends in mid-September, knowing that it is now known that Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be released on October 17th.

The survey could be used to promote this major update of Windows 10 by identifying what arouses the most interest.

Without taking up all the features listed (see here), here are a few:
  •     OneDrive Files On-Demand for accessing OneDrive files from File Explorer while preserving disk space
  •     Pin favorite contacts (for interactions) and favorite sites (Microsoft Edge) on the taskbar
  •     The new Fluent Design design language with a translucent effect for certain elements
  •     New protections in Windows Defender, including for ransomwares (only specific applications can access certain folders)
  •     Consulting a website or Office document on a smartphone (Android and iOS) and continuing this consultation on PC
  •     Limit resource consumption by background applications
  •     Forms and notes on PDF files in Microsoft Edge
  •     Web search results in Cortana without opening the browser
  •     Automatic deletion after 30 days of files in the Downloads folder
  •     The exploitation of the mixed reality platform
  •     Adding 3D effects to automatic editing of photos and videos
  •     Adding 3D objects to Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  •     Improved Game Mode Performance
  •     Optimizing shapes with a stylus

Speaking of Windows Insiders ... do not expect a new build for this week. Microsoft must resolve a blocking bug, even if it only concerns the possibility for testers to comment.
