The
latest version of Windows is not only happy: since the launch of the
Creators Update, the players evoke degradations in the performances in
game, and Microsoft has just admitted to have a worry of this side.
At the launch of the Windows 10 Creators Update in April, some players almost immediately reported experiencing performance problems in their favorite games.
Between drops of framerates and untimely freezes, it is the manufacturers of graphics cards that have been pointed at. And despite updates of drivers, it quickly became clear that the problem was not to be sought on the side of Nvidia or AMD, but Microsoft.
After a few weeks of eddies, a solution was found: disable the Xbox DVR function on the machines most impacted by the problem ... A solution that works on a case by case basis but does not concern the majority of players.

Finally, after long months of silence, Microsoft makes its mea culpa through the publication of a note from one of its engineers. The latter indicates on a forum that Microsoft has identified several different sources of problems causing jerks in the display of the games and that a fix is already available in the Build 16273 and higher accessible to the users of the program Insider.
Microsoft continues to investigate the sources of the problem, hoping that everything will be settled before the arrival of the Fall Creators Update which provides for the integration of a "Game Mode".
