It is the Breker house that specialized in "technical antiques" in Germany that recently put on sale an emblematic object in the history of computing: an Apple-I.

The computer was estimated at a price between 180,000 and 300,000 euros depending on its operating status and compared to previous models sold during other auctions.
The Apple-I thus proposed was in working order and accompanied by both its original invoice and manual as well as all the documents provided at the time of purchase. It belonged to a Californian engineer, John J.Dryden who bought it in 1976.
The Apple-I computer has only been produced at 200 copies, to date there are only 8 of these models still in working order.
