Still, Akhan Semiconductor is back and talks about diamond glass screens for smartphones next year. The company had already made the same announcement for 2018 but the design and production have probably lagged far behind, however, we know that a smartphone manufacturer has already grabbed the entirety of the first batch of production, without knowing the name.

Called Miraj Diamond Glass, the screen would be even more resistant than those in sapphire crystal, and its price would be displayed accordingly. We could see this type of product settle only on high-end smartphones whose prices have continued to fly to exceed the thousand euros as for flagship Samsung or Apple.
