The Office of the US Trade Representative has updated its black list of platforms and markets for piracy and counterfeiting. France is quoted in the report, especially for 1fichier.com.
Last October, the Motion Picture Association of America and the Recording Industry Association of America submitted a list of markets involved in content theft to the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR).
In particular, the USTR relied on these proposals to update its own list. It includes in all and more globally, 25 online markets and 18 physical markets around the world expected to promote piracy and counterfeiting to the detriment of the US economy.
