Samsung Notebook 9 (2018): in line with Surface tablets



Samsung renews its Notebook 9 range with three models including one with a touch display and a stylus S Pen.



The Korean group unveils a new range in its Notebook 9 series notebook computers with two 13.3-inch and 15-inch models as well as a 9-pin Notebook version with 13.3-inch touchscreen display and S Pen stylus.

Placed at the top of the line and likely to stand up to Microsoft's Surface products, they are equipped with 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB at 1TB of storage space.



While the 13.3-inch versions with or without a touch screen feature Intel HD Graphics integrated GPUs, the 15-inch model benefits from an Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card with 2GB of GDDR5 RAM.

Connectors side, there will be USB-C, USB 3.0, HDMI and a microSD memory card slot, as well as an integrated 720p camera and a fingerprint reader for securing. The Notebook 9 Pen integrates in addition to infrared.

The Notebook 9 series takes advantage of RealViewDisplay Full HD displays, and RealViewTouch Full HD for the Notebook 9 Pen and benefits from a Metal12 metal shell finish, promising both robustness and lightness, but with a battery of 75 Wh.

Prices for the Notebook 9 series (2018) are unknown but availability is set in December in South Korea and early 2018 in the United States. We should know more during CES 2018 in Las Vegas, next January, where the new machines will be on display.
