YouTube tests the automatic playback of videos on the home page

On Android, the site Android Central spotted a test with the YouTube application involving the automatic playback of videos, but at the opening of the application or when browsing the home page. This automatic playback happens - fortunately - without the audio.

 We did not see this test with the latest version of the YouTube app for Android, or even the presence in the settings of a new Play as you browse option during browsing.

 This option is enabled by default. In addition to the intermediate choice of allowing only auto-playback only in Wi-Fi, it could be deactivated. It would have been more logical (or in any case acceptable) that the choice only in Wi-Fi would be the default.
