Sign that the tensions with Apple are not appeased, the Qualcomm group has filed requests to have the sale and manufacture of the iPhone in China prohibited.

 Apple and Qualcomm have been at war since the beginning of the year on the issue of iPhone modems and license fees associated with embedded mobile technologies.

The Cupertino firm refuses to pay the requested royalties, judging them too high compared to their role in the complex machinery that is the iPhone, while that of San Diego is offended to see its powerful modems bridled to stay at the level of those of competitor Intel, without being able to communicate officially on this point.
