iPhone with collapsible screen? Maybe with LG Display!

Apple would partner with LG Display to study the development of an iPhone ... with collapsible screen!

 While the rumors of launching a smartphone with collapsible display are amplifying on the side of Samsung, it is now whispering that Apple would also study the possibility of developing an iPhone with collapsible display.

But while Samsung remains the master of the production of flexible OLED displays, it would be with LG Display that the Californian firm would have joined forces for this initiative, reports the site The Bell.

A joint team would have been set up, with the help of another subsidiary, LG Innotek, to provide the necessary flexible printed circuits.

Production could be brought into production by 2020, which should leave Samsung (and probably some other smartphone manufacturers) a step ahead for its own smartphones with collapsible screens.
