Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: it will be a SoC SnapDragon 835 and always a borderless screen

The smartphone Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will have a SoC SnapDragon 835, not 836, on board and this time will not be a simple concept.

At the end of 2016, the announcement of the smartphone Xiaomi Mi Mix kicked off smartphones with a screen covering almost the entire front of the device, causing the edges to completely disappear.

Presented as a concept, even if it was later marketed in limited quantities, it has initiated a trend that is now found in a significant number of smartphones, from entry-level to mobile reference, and with more or less daring screen ratios.

Xiaomi is now preparing to give it a sequel in the form of a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 that still retains many of its secrets but still releases some clues before its official presentation.

First of all, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be a real smartphone, not a concept, with the desire to sell it as much as possible. It will maintain a borderless display covering almost the entire front panel and it can already be expected that it will do better than the 91.3% ratio of the initial model.

There is a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a QHD / 2K resolution with an AMOLED slab and a curved screen.

Processor side, it will still offer the best of the moment. The Qualcomm group confirmed beforehand the presence of a SoC SnapDragon 835 on board, thus ending the rumor of the integration of a new SoC SnapDragon 836 not yet announced and which would be the variant muscular.

For memory, the smartphone should offer 6 to 8 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of storage space, all running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and with MIUI 9 overlay. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 should be presented on the 11th next September.
