Galaxy S7: a new explosion recorded in South Korea

This is a case that is starting to make a little noise and reminds us of the events of Note 7: Samsung Galaxy S7 has encountered some problems with explosions at the key in recent weeks.

Last month, a Galaxy S7 Edge ignited in the hands of its owner in Angoulême after the smartphone fell to the ground leaving his vehicle. Today, it is a standard S7 that exploded in South Korea.

The Korea Herald reports that a user of Galaxy S7 was burned by hand during the explosion of his smartphone. The terminal was in charge in the victim's room, connected to an official charger.

Fortunately, the terminal on the ground did not cause a fire, but it suddenly heated before exploding. It was by attempting to turn off the terminal that the user was injured by hand. An investigation was launched by the KATS (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards.)

To date, there is no question of questioning all the Galaxy S7, the problems being relatively isolated. Nevertheless, it is good to handle our smartphones and tablets carefully, especially if the latter have suffered damage (shock, fall), lithium-ion batteries presenting themselves as real small time bombs.
