Galaxy S8 and reddish AMOLED screen: Samsung confirms preparing a fix

Faced with the grumbling of the users regarding the reddish color of the Galaxy S8 / S8 + screen, Samsung announces the release of a patch. But will it really be enough to eliminate this effect?


The first buyers of Samsung's new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + smartphones were surprised to see that the Super AMOLED display of Infinity Display type showed a reddish tinge linked to a manufacturing process to reinforce the red tint of the screen . The update could then attenuate but not necessarily eliminate the reddish hue observed.Samsung has already indicated that inconvenienced users could request a replacement of their smartphone from customer service.
