In the space of 11 minutes, Twitter has lived without the US President Donald Trump being able to publish anything, his account has been disabled. The White House says it was a voluntary act because the account was deactivated the day a Twitter employee left.

Twitter quickly confirmed that it was a malicious act perpetrated by one of his ex-employees the day he left. Contacted, the latter confirmed that many Twitter employees are in the ability to disable user accounts by relatively simple procedures. Without this being an integral part of their attributions, they would thus be a few hundred to have sufficient rights and access to disable any network account.
After this incident that caused no real consequences, Twitter would consider better secure the accounts of important personalities or popular users.
