Without being able to talk about the "success" of the iPhone X by lack of precise figures, we can however agree that the screen of the Apple terminal wins all votes. To the point that Apple plans to offer two terminals equipped with OLED screens and Face ID next year.
As with its Retina screens at the time of the iPhone 4, Apple's OLED screen could become a standard on the terminals of the brand.
Apple is preparing a transition phase between its iPhone X and the generalization of OLED screens on its iPhone with two terminals that could be equipped from next year. This is at least what the Ming-Chi Kuo analysis of KGI Securities suggests.
The two terminals in question would be equipped with OLED screens, a steel chassis and the Touch ID module based on a 3D TrueDepth camera. It would be a question of abandoning the Touch ID module and also to revise the general design of the iPhone to model it on the iPhone X.
* Prix initial : 820€.
Thus the iPhone X presented as the ultra-high-end anniversary edition would in fact be the new base on which the iPhone will rely more globally. Nevertheless, one wonders if the choice to integrate the OLED screen into a wider selection of terminals (as does yet Samsung) will not be an opportunity for Apple to revise all of its tariffs upward.
