Nokia 2: the Android smartphone with two days of autonomy

The Nokia 2 is announced. If it will not shine by outstanding performance, this Android smartphone comes with no less than two days of battery life.

The company HMD Global completes its range of Nokia branded smartphones with an entry-level newcomer, the Nokia 2 which will still offer Android Nougat directly on board, with a planned update to Android Oreo, quite rare to be noted on a smartphone in this positioning.

Equipped with a 5-inch HD display and a mobile platform SnapDragon 212 with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage space, the Nokia 2 still offers an 8 megapixel photo sensor in the back and a 5 megapixel module in the front.

It is a 4G smartphone compatible on all European 4G bands and capable of reaching downstream rates up to 150 Mbps and uplinks up to 50 Mbps, with VoLTE and VoWiFi compatibility.

The Nokia 2 has the distinction of shipping a battery of 4100 mAh which should bring up to 2 days of battery life. As for other models, HMD Global promises regular updates, for the pure Android embedded platform and security.

HMD Global will launch the Nokia 2 in three colors for a price of € 99, from November 2017.
