WhatsApp sets up a customer relationship solution

WhatsApp (Facebook group) sets up a customer relationship solution and monetization with large companies.




 We now know a bit more about the pilot program with audited business accounts that had been spotted in the WhatsApp e-mail service FAQ. It is related to the testing of an application and a customer relationship solution.

A WhatsApp Business application will be offered free to small businesses, while it is referred to as a solution for large companies that "operate on a large scale with a global customer base." Airlines, e-commerce sites and banks are cited as an example.


"These companies will be able to use our solutions to provide customers with useful notifications such as flight schedules, delivery confirmations and other updates," WhatsApp writes in a blog post. For large companies, some of the proposed tools will become payable later.


Companies will only be able to contact users who have provided their phone number and have agreed to be contacted via WhatsApp.



 This form of communication between companies and customers already resembles what is set up on Messenger, another Facebook group application. On the other hand, advertising does not enter WhatsApp, unless the customer relationship is only a backdoor way to do it ...
